Silk-effect microfibre, widely known as «ice silk», is a very fine synthetic fabric with a smooth, cool hand. It is not real silk: it recalls the feel, but it is machine washable and dries in no time.
Why choose microfibre
It is thin, fits close without squeezing and adds no bulk under trousers. Many styles are also seamless and are grouped in our seamless briefs. Here you will find classic briefs, mid- or low-rise, with a front pouch and sheer versions; there are also a few styles in stretch nylon, just as light.
Microfibre or cotton?
Cotton is softer and feels drier, microfibre is smoother and dries faster: in summer and when travelling that makes a difference. If you prefer the classic, see our cotton briefs.
