Men's thongs and tangas are the most minimal styles: no excess fabric, no lines under trousers and a feeling of freedom that few men give up once they try it.

Thong or tanga: the difference

A thong has a thin strap at the back; a tanga has a band at the hips and a little more fabric at the back, while still being very high-cut. Both have a shaped front pouch that supports without squeezing. If you want a bit more coverage, try our low-rise briefs.

Fabrics and patterns

Silk-effect microfibre is smooth and thin, modal soft and breathable, satin shiny, mesh light and sheer. There are solid, patterned and leopard-print styles; many are also seamless. For sheer and mesh briefs see our sexy underwear.
