Men's seamless silky microfibre boxer briefs: what you get
Choose between 5 and 10 sheer boxer briefs, all in a single size. There are six single colours: light grey, black, light blue, dark grey, sage green and yellow. The mix puts five of these colours together, in the same number:
- «1x light grey + 1x black + 1x light blue + 1x charcoal + 1x sage»: one piece per colour in the 5-pack;
- «2x light grey + 2x black + 2x light blue + 2x charcoal + 2x sage»: two per colour in the 10-pack.
Yellow isn't in the mix: it only comes as a single colour. «Charcoal» in the mix is the dark grey.
If this is your first sheer boxer brief, the mix is the easiest way to find out which shade you like best: from black, the most discreet, to light blue and sage, which are brighter. Then you can come back for your favourite as a single colour.
Which size: a fit for slim builds
This style runs small. Indicative weight, waist and height:
- XS: 40–50 kg, 68–74 cm, 160–168 cm;
- S: 55–60 kg, 72–80 cm, 165–173 cm;
- M: 65–70 kg, 80–88 cm, 170–178 cm;
- L: 75–80 kg, 88–96 cm, 175–183 cm.
There are gaps between the weight bands (for example between 50 and 55 kg): there your waist decides, and when in doubt go up a size. Above 80 kg this style is too small: see the other men's microfibre boxers, which go up to larger sizes. The sticker on the pack is what counts.
Sheer or opaque?
A sheer boxer brief is a style choice more than a comfort one: you wear it for an evening, to feel different, to surprise. For everyday wear under light trousers an opaque fabric is better. If you like this look, you'll find more daring pieces among men's sexy briefs.
How to look after it
Hand wash, or machine wash at 30 °C inside a laundry bag for delicates. Avoid bleach and fabric softener, which weigh the fibre down. Hang it to dry away from radiators and direct sun, and don't iron it: microfibre dries on its own in little time.
