Overview
A cotton sports sock that rises to mid-calf: it covers the ankle above the edge of the shoe and stays in place on the leg when you run or change direction.
What sets it apart is the palette of understated colours, from navy blue to rust brown, and the versions with a contrast stripe, such as dark grey with a light blue stripe or black with an orange stripe.
The cotton is soft and breathable and absorbs sweat. The exact composition is on the inside label.
They come in packs of 5 or 10 pairs, in one colour or in combinations of two or five colours, one size EU 38–45.

Men's mid-calf cotton sports socks: what you get
The options come in three kinds:
- single colour: «5x light grey», «5x rust brown», «5x blue» and the same in 10;
- with a stripe: «5x dark grey (light blue stripe)» and «5x black (orange stripe)», also in 10;
- colour pairings: for example «2x navy blue + 3x dark grey» in the 5-pack, which becomes «4x navy blue + 6x dark grey» in the 10-pack; the other pairings are dark grey and light grey, brown and blue, black and brown, light grey and black.
Finally there's the five-colour mix: «1x black + 1x brown + 1x blue + 1x dark grey + 1x light grey» in the 5-pack and twice of each colour in the 10-pack.
Which size to choose
They are one size, from shoe size EU 38 to 45. At 38 or 39 the sock comes a little higher up the calf; at 44 or 45 it fits more snugly on the foot and sits a little lower.
If you wear a 46 or above, the sock may pull at the heel: in that case choose a style made for larger feet.
Mid-calf or ankle socks
Ankle socks are perfect with low shoes and in summer, but with quick movements they can slip down and leave the heel bare. Mid-calf socks:
- protect the ankle from the edge of the shoe;
- stay put through sprints and changes of direction;
- also work with high-tops and light hiking boots.
They work off the pitch too: with jeans and high-tops, brown and navy blue just peek above the shoe and give a tidy look.

How to wash them
Machine wash at 40 °C, inside out, no bleach, and line dry. Rust brown and black are best washed with dark colours, light grey with the lights. Let them dry completely before they go back in your kit bag, especially after an evening match.
