Men's red modal boxer briefs: how to get the red
Each pack holds 5 or 10 boxer briefs in the same size. Please note: red only comes with the single colour option, «5x red» or «10x red». The mix contains no red:
- «1x petrol + 1x burgundy + 1x charcoal + 1x lilac + 1x sage»: one per colour in the 5-pack;
- «2x petrol + 2x burgundy + 2x charcoal + 2x lilac + 2x sage»: two per colour in the 10-pack.
There are eight single colours: petrol green, burgundy, charcoal grey, lilac grey, sage green, powder blue, red and black. In the mix «petrol» is the petrol green, «lilac» the lilac grey and «sage» the sage green.
Which size to choose
This style runs small and has no L: it goes from M straight to XL. Indicative weight and waist:
- XS: 35–50 kg, 68–74 cm;
- S: 50–65 kg, 72–80 cm;
- M: 65–80 kg, 80–88 cm;
- XL: 80–95 kg, 96–104 cm.
If your waist is between 88 and 96 cm, take the XL. On the boundary between two weight bands, choose the larger size. The sticker on the pack is what counts.
Red for New Year's Eve, and after
In Italy wearing something red on the night of 31 December is a good-luck ritual. Order in good time so the parcel is home before the party. The good thing about modal is that the boxer brief doesn't end up at the back of the drawer on 1 January: soft and cool, it works every day. Washing
Wash red boxers on their own or with other red items the first time, then machine wash at 30 °C with similar colours. No bleach. Line dry rather than tumble drying, and keep the iron away from the waistband.
If you buy a 10-pack in red, you could split it with a friend or relative celebrating with you: all the pieces are the same size, so this only works if you wear the same size.
